Brought as a gift for my daughter, so they haven't been tested yet. I however tried them on and am impressed with the softness of the leather, compared to other Dr's. seem to be true to size also.

Best boots ever
I've always wanted a pair of Dr martens but always been put off because of the whole blisters before hipsters stereotype that they have but these soft leathers ones are completely different, the first time I wore them I put plasters on just incase but they were so comfortable that I didn't need them so definitely a win for me, I've worn them constantly and I love them, I cant wait to get them in different colours.

I've always wanted a pair of Dr Martens Boots but the thoughts of having to 'wear them in' really put me off. Then I discovered the soft leather boots! OMG perfect and comfy to wear from the minute they came out the box. On 1st wear I did a 3 mile walk in them. Never have I had a pair of shoes that didn't rub even just a little on the 1st wear. No breaking in required
If you want to avoid the breaking in period without compromising on style, opt for the Virginia leather. I wore mine for the first time yesterday with 80denier tights, and I put some thick socks in my bag just in case. I needn’t have bothered with the socks as these boots are super comfy with no rubbing whatsoever. I’ve also just been out in the torrential rain and my feet are completely dry! Very happy customer ☺️
