Ilse Jacobsen
Ilse Jacobsen established her eponymous line in 1993, creating a brand that encompasses rainwear and sophisticated womenswear, shoes and accessories.
Specialising in footwear, the Danish brand is inspired by the rural seaside surroundings of its base north of Copenhagen, using natural beauty and materials, whilst always focusing on creativity, quality and current trends.
Ilse Jacobsen fell into design when she took over a friend’s shoe agency; she then opened her own shoe shop and started designing and creating her own collections. The brand grew to include womenswear and accessories, and is now sold all over the world.
