Our Top 10 Picks For New Season Footwear

The new season is here and we’re ready for a refresh. As we move into the warmer weather, we can finally be a bit more adventurous with our new season footwear choices, kissing goodbye to the ice and snow for another year (hopefully). Soon we’ll be ready to sport our sandals and pull on our trainers for sunny-day adventures, so we’re being optimistic and looking forward. This season we’re inviting you to free your sole and show your spirit in style, so here are our top 10 picks for new season footwear for all the days to come.

1. Converse Women's Cpx 70 Hi-Top Trainers - Black/White/White

The perfect shoe for the new season, Converse have given their classic Hi-Tops a trending twist with a chunky platform sole. Combining the features of several different Converse styles including the classic All-Stars and cult ERX260 models, these are the shoes for you if you’re looking to level up and opt for a more statement piece. Finished off with a touch of leopard print, we’re big fans of these.

2. Asics Men's Gel-1090 Trainers - White/Midnight

Maybe your aim for the new season is to get up and get moving, maybe you’re working towards a summer marathon or just excited to get back to evening jogs? Whatever it is, Asics are a new season must-have. The Asics Gel-1090 combine practicality and aesthetics, complete with all the shock absorbant gel and padding necessary to protect your feet during activities, but also re-engineering the design through a modern lens.

3. Dr. Martens 101 Smooth Leather 6-Eye Boots - Black

A new season doesn’t need a whole new style, a transitional classic like a Dr Martens boot effortlessly shows off your style. You can definitely still wear your tough boots in spring, we know we will be. At AllSole HQ we’re really into these 6-eye boots, sitting lower down on your ankle and making them look a little lighter. We’ll be pairing ours with maxi dresses or tailored trousers as the warmer weather rolls around.

4. Kurt Geiger London Women's Priya Block Mule Sandals - Green

Dress them up or dress them down, a new season is sure to bring a whole new social calendar packed full with city days, nights around a barbeque and then the inevitable wedding season. To tackle all of the above, a strappy sandal is a great new season edition. These beautiful mule sandals from Kurt Geiger are a perfect example; easily dressed up with a dress and clutch but just as suitable for a day spent wandering in straight leg jeans or trousers for work.

5. Ash Women's Tiger Running Style Trainers - Grey/White/Blue

A new style for the new season, Ash have released this fresh take on their super-popular chunky trainers. Still with the same added height, the Tiger trainers are more retro-inspired with their bold colour panelling and star soles. If you’re getting tired of your all-white chunky sneakers, these are calling your name and injecting some colour into your spring/summer collection. We think they would look amazing with a black smock-style maxi dress, adding some fun and a modern edge to more classic pieces.

6. Clarks Originals Men's Wallabee Suede Shoes - Cola

The time has come. Now the fear of rain has loosened a little, it’s time to don your suede shoes with confidence (just maybe give them a waterproofing spray first…just in case). One of our favourite styles for spring/summer is always the Clarks Originals Wallabees, looking just as good with formal trousers as it does with shorts. With a long history behind it, this style is everlasting, going way beyond just this new season.

7. Ted Baker Women's Rilans Snake Print Western Style Ankle Boots - Natural

Now is the time to style your spirit, so don’t be afraid to go a little bolder for the new season. If you’re normally one to stick to simple black shoes, it’s time to go a little rogue. Animal prints have been everywhere lately, from the runways of fashion week to the street style blogs, so the trend shows no sign of slowing so why not jump on-board. With these Ted Baker snake print boots, you can tick off two trends in one; animal print and western style. They’re getting a big yes from us.

8. Dr. Martens Women's 1460 Pascal Iridescent Crackle 8-Eye Boots - Gold

For the unafraid, free your sole in these incredible gold Dr Martens. From their bold colour to their foil effect, there’s nothing subtle about these and as we always say; why fit in when you were born to stand out. If your summer style is all about being bold and adventurous, dress up your confidence in these.

9. Coach Men's Tech Runner Trainers - Black

New from the iconic New York fashion house, these trainers from Coach combine the best of tech and design. Designed for maximum comfort, these trainers are made with Coach’s CitySole technology, with shock-absorbent pods in the sole and grooved design for long-lasting comfort. So you can wear these all day and not only look great but feel great, as the suede detailing and hue-blocking tones make the technical shoe look beautiful.

10. Clarks Women's Orinoco Strap Leather Sandals - Black

Something a little different from Clarks, these Orinoco sandals add a little edge to the classic shape. With a slightly chunkier sole and thick leather straps, we love the attitude in these, being far more wearable as the weather gradually warms than a traditional strappy sandal. If you wanted, you could even pair these with a nice sock and trousers if you’re feeling like a rule-breaker. The perfect sandal for spring days in the city and summer adventures at the park, these are definitely on our payday shopping list for the new season.
