Brogues are a timeless shoe full of style and history. Originating in Ireland over 500 years ago, the brogue is instantly recognisable by its perforated edges, and has become the smart shoe of choice for the modern gentleman.
Brogues have now crossed over into women’s wardrobes too, with the first pair made by George Cleverly for Twiggy in 1972, creating the perfect androgynous shoe. Today, brogues are a must-have for any style-conscious male or female – we take a look at how two of our favourite bloggers style the classic shoe.
