ASICS Updates its Classic Gel Kayano

Japanese trainer specialists ASICShave reached back into its archive to start 2017 with a fresh update of one of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes. The classic ASICS Gel Kayano is reimagined with a lightweight knit upper and a new mid-cut sock-like silhouette that envelops the ankle for a comfortable fit.

Originally designed in the 1990s and quickly securing its place as one of ASICS’ best-loved sneakers, long-time fans of the Gel Kayano will be pleased to hear that the new edition retains original features such as the traditional lacing system and midsole. The cage overlay also incorporates the brand’s instantly recognisable tiger stripes for that timeless ASICS look.
